A few days in Croatia

the country of waterfalls and helpful open people

Quite a lot of the people speak English (some even German). If you stay in a guest house, you will notice that the people are very interested to make contact. They will invite you to tea and cake and love to speak about live and give tips about what you can do.
There are a lot of shops on the way that sell honey, sometimes from many different flowers. Often you can try and find out, which honey you like best.

I started in Zadar with a Kayak tour to Dugi Otok

Krka NP

The krka river has a few waterfalls. You can take a boat tour along the river to Visovac and Roski slap. Visovac is a monastery on an inland in the national park.

Paklenica National Park

It is a paradise for climber, while that might be for hiker I found it lacking. Most of the trails were made easily accessible unfortunately most of them were wide enough for cars, which for me took away the charm. Perhaps longer hikes are more beautiful, but after an hour walk, I was done wasting my time.
